Following the sucess of Purely Papercraft we are delighted to be returning to the Gateshead Stadium on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st October 2012.  The show this year will be known as Creative Crafts incorporating papercrafts, card making, stamping, embellishments, buttons, beads, ribbons, wool etc etc as well as some ready made gifts for those hard to find Christmas presents.

Initial J Promotions was set up in 1998 and we have been organising two major craft events in the North East, ever since. Each event is professionally planned and organised by a small team with over 15 years experience.

Needlework, Quilt & Craft show

Celebrating our 15th Anniversary Pins & Needles is an event not to be missed. This is a well established show with the emphasise on needlework supplies and growing our quilt show, with the support of our regional Quilters Guild we hope to grow this from a small acorn.......to the biggest display in the North East. The event also incorporates paper crafts, card making , scrapbooking, parchment, knitting, beads, threads & ribbons and a selection of ready made gifts from local crafters -, really as much content as we can provide for our crafters.

We positively encourage and promote workshops in all types of craft, increasingly popular they represent the perfect platform to spark the imagination and tempt visitors to try an idea. If you would like to tutor a workshop please give us a call. Displays play an important role in inspiring crafters, we are delighted to bring you the Above & Below the Waves Exhibition as well as Linzi Upton's 18ft Quilted Yurt.  We are always looking for fresh innovative ideas, if you have one please do get in touch with us!

There is a strong emphasis on paper craft supplies , including card making, rubber stamping, scrapbooking, parchment, beads, ribbons, wool etc as well as some great gift ideas for those hard to find Christmas  presents.

Workshops and displays play an important role in this event so if you would like to tutor a workshop please let us know
